A filtered selection of Made in Mexico Fender guitars listed for sale this week. Fender started producing guitars from their plant in Ensenada, Mexico, in 1990. The MIM (Made in Mexico) Fenders have a dedicated prefix before their serial number. Guitars made in Mexico between 1990 and 2000 use the prefix MN0 to MN9. Those made between 2000 and 2010 have the prefix MZ0 to MZ9 and those produced after that start with MX10 (2010) onwards (*).
