About the Gibson J-45 Acoustic

The J-45 is Gibson’s round-shouldered dreadnought, valued for a dry, warm midrange and strong rhythm sound. Older examples can be excellent, but structural condition is more important than cosmetic wear.

Used-buying check: Inspect the bridge, top behind the bridge, neck angle and internal braces. Ask about neck resets, cracks, pickup installation and any replaced bridge plate.

It also has lighter and selected Mahogany which makes the guitar light feather. Great neck comfortable not super chunky or slim, I would say a comfortable C. Nut Width 1.725". Back & Sides Mahogany.
